“ Are you looking for peace and seclusion?”Look no further than this cozy and quiet retreat within walking distance of Lake Lure. This extremely clean and well stocked cabin provides a break from reality with everything within reach. From classy restaurants with extensive wine lists to burgers with fries, you can find a place that meets every families desire. The cabin is well furnished with comfortable furniture for days of relaxing inside or choose the screened in porch to enjoy the natural setting without the critters nature provides! Very near the infamous Lake Lure to channel your inner “Dirty Dancing” or a short drive to a NC landmark, Chimney Rock. Overall this is a getaway you won’t regret. The owners are very personable and responsive to ensure their guests get the most out of their Lake Lure experience. Their familiarity with the area is a valuable resource for creating lifelong memories. This cabin comes HIGHLY recommended for those in search of a hidden gem off a somewhat beaten path. Best cabin at the lake! Close to everything yet private, plenty of room to spread out but cozy, lots of green space and lovely porch but also modern amenities. The little details were great, like the wall-mounted fans with remote controls and the white noise machine, although we didn’t need it. The two beds are different, which was perfect for us because I like firm and my partner likes soft and we had one of each! Plenty of dishes for making breakfast, everything was super clean and well organized and the lighting was great – it gets really dark at night! I will also note that anyone over 6’5″ should be aware that the ceilings are a bit low. Overall, I only wish we had booked more nights! Don’t miss this gem!

The cabin was a great place for our stay. The host was very communicative and flexible. Our stay was last minute so we are truly grateful that they were willing to work with us. The place was very clean and lots of little touches that helped make our stay really comfortable. We enjoyed the fire pit. The location is close to the Lake Lure Beach and activities. It is off a main road so not quite as secluded as we expected but the trees surrounding the house still give you a sense of privacy. Would recommend.

We had a nice time at the cabin. The space was clean & well-furnished. Irma was easy to get ahold of & very responsive to questions. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to cook for a few days. The back porch was comfortable and provided a relaxing space to “decompress” in the evenings after hiking all day. Next time we stay, we will be sure to figure out the wi-fi, definitely was user error. Just a heads up, your signal will be come and go around the area…price you pay to be in beautiful country like Lake Lure. Will definitely be staying at Irma’s in the future.

Notes
Please – no candles. While some animals are allowed, we ask that you do not allow them on the furniture (bed, sofa, etc.) If your animal sheds excessively, please be respectful of our housekeeping staff and sweep up behind your fur baby.
House Rules
THE SHORT OF IT:
Pet fee- $125 per pet

THE LONG & LEGAL OF IT:
Minimum pet fee of $125 per animal upon pre-booking approval. Any expenses due to damage from animal(s) will be paid for from deposit or by separate request from landlord. Additional guests besides those listed in the booking may require a fee. Additional guests over 4 may require a fee. Please inquire before booking. No illegal activity, parties, events, weddings, reunions, or additional guests. Violations result in a minimum $1,000 fine per incident. Do not disturb neighbors or violate regulations of HOA. No refunds will be given for acts of nature, animals in nature (bugs, mice, etc,) unexpected appliances malfunctioning or breaking during the stay, power outages, internet outages, plumbing & electrical issues, or any other scenario that is a possibility (but not typical,) when renting a house. The safety, durability, and functionality of baby/child toys, and gear at the home are not the responsibility of the host. Guests are required to inspect baby/child items and decide if they meet safety standards and are suitable for use for their child(ren.) Guests are responsible for any and all legal fees (if) incurred by the landlord pertaining to the tenant and/or the property. Any violation of rules, unexpected eviction from property, or if police are dispatched to the house, will result in forfeit of any and all payment, loss of deposit, and additional charges related to the incident.
